We are proud to announce an exhibition opening on April 29th at 7:00 at India Habitat Center featuring the kids of Salaam Baalak Trust. Many internationally acclaimed artists have paired with our children to make a traveling exhibition (to be also shown in London and Singapore). Each artist prepared a piece depicting their view of life on the street. Then, they worked with one of our children to make a piece together – using a different perspective of actual street children!

Una exposición sobre la experiencia homosexual en la India en uno de esos lugares donde uno no espera que haya nada interesante: Okhla Industrial Estate. Sunil Gupta, activista por los derechos de los gays y lesbianas indios, se desnuda literalmente en una exposición que mezcla fotografía y video arte y que el pasado 19 de setiembre incluyó una lectura de textos titulada 377, en referencia al artículo del código penal que castigaba las relaciones entre hombres.
P.S. La exposición de Rakhi Peswani también merecía el trayecto hasta Okhla.
